Attention all gardening enthusiasts, DIY-ers, and nature lovers! Get ready to spruce up your gardens and grab last-minute Mother's Day gifts at the Groton Garden Club's annual plant sale tomorrow. Whether you're seeking vibrant flowers to add a splash of color, or robust shrubs to enhance your landscape, our updated (partial) plant list will give you an idea of what to expect. With an array of choices, you're sure to find the perfect additions to your green spaces.

In addition to our updated plant selection, we're excited to share some additional attractions at this year's sale:

  • For the little ones, we have a dedicated table that includes Mother's Day gifts. Let the kids pick out something special to surprise Mom, Auntie, Grandma, or that special nurturer in their lives to show their appreciation for all they do.

  • Calling all bird lovers: we're offering beautifully crafted bluebird houses to help create a welcoming environment for these feathered friends in your backyard.

  • Focused on supporting Groton’s local ecosystem? We're proud to highlight a collection of native plants that thrive in our region. By incorporating native species into your garden, you'll not only support local ecosystems but also enjoy plants that are well-suited to our climate and soil conditions.

  • For the gardener that has it all, we will have a section of “specialty plants” that are especially unique!

And here's some exciting news: To make your shopping experience even more convenient, we will now accept credit card payments in addition to cash and check. No need to worry about running short on cash – just swipe your card and take home your favorite find!

Join us tomorrow at Legion Common, 75 Hollis Street from 9 am to noon, rain or shine, and let's celebrate the beauty of gardening together. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, our plant sale has something for everyone. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your outdoor space while supporting the Groton Garden Club's mission to promote gardening, conservation, and the beautification of Groton.
